I am Mrs. Stinnett - a proud mama to two fabulous kids (Evan whom is four and Mattie Jane whom is almost two) and a wife to my sweet husband, Robert. We moved to SC in June of 2010 from the sunny state of Florida where I taught first grade for one year.
I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received a BA in journalism. I sought out a teaching career after gaining significant experience in marketing/pr/writing. I went back to school to complete the required course work in order to obtain a teaching license. I am certified to teach elementary, middle grades ELA and high school ELA. I am also a writer and photographer for Gage Publishing who publishes five magazines throughout Volusia and Flagler counties, FL.
My personal mission is to enhance learning opportunities for students by providing an environment where the student's natural love for life and learning are encouraged, nurtured and intrinsically instilled so that the students will be lifelong learners. I will strive to create a strong sense of community while creating a caring and respectful environment.
